To Atlantic City by Train

Getting to Atlantic City from the airport (via Philadelphia)

Travelling from philadelphia airport is pretty easy. The is a train straight from the airport to the central station in philadelphia 31st street.

To get the train, simply follow the signs at the airport. You can board the train from any of the platforms, so don't worry if you see people on both platforms, you can board the train from either.

Trains run at 43 past the hour and 13 past the hour, right through to the last train which leaves the airport at 12:13pm

The cost of the train ride into the centre is $7 and you pay on the train, with cash. Remember, that this is a cash only service so make sure you have the notes ready. The attendant on the train wil have change, so you don't need the exact money.

For those that like old fashioned things, you might enjoy the ticketing on the train, which involves the attendant punching holes in a card corresponding to where you boarded, where you are headed and how much you paid. None of this modern electronic equipment, just a hole puncher and a bunch of cash!

Once at 30th street station, you can make a connection to Atlantic city  on new jersey transport.
